Damn, I'm out of shape
May. 8th, 2005 04:11 pmAfter a weekend of debauchery (well, two very good parties, at least), I decided I'd try and get a bit of exercise, and it being a beautiful spring day, I decided rollerblading was it. Damn, twenty minutes of not overly intense (pretty consistently moving, but not pushing it at all) and I'm tired. So, I'm definitely going to have to start doing this far more regularly.
So, anyone interested in semi-irregular rollerblading? Or maybe bicycling? (Yeah, I have to get my bike out of the garage and back on the road, too.) Cause, it will be easier with encouragement/companionship.

Date: 2005-05-08 08:55 pm (UTC)"2005 Season Cancelled
I am very sorry to inform you that we have been forced to cancel the 2005 season due to the lack of safe and appropriate facilities at our terminal in Portland." More... (http://www.scotiaprince.com)
Yup.
That's the Portland one, damn. There's still the ferry out of Bar Harbour, Maine -- it seems to leave at 0800 daily, and they claim it's a 2h45 trip accross on their web site. 0800 departure probably means being at the dock before the to start loading. (Though, oddly, I can't find anything on their site that says how much before departure you need to be there. Maybe they start loading at 0800?) 0800 would probably mean meeting in Bar Harbour the day before, and overnighting there.
Yeah, gets messier.
