Then I drive across the Sierra Nevada to Minden, NV, which is my actual destination. It looks to be a couple hours drive, but should be a pleasant drive. Landing in Reno would have been closer -- only about an hour's drive -- but the flights to Reno were awful, or expensive, or both.

Still, I was awake way-too-early this morning.

And I have arrived in Minden, NV. As expected, the drive over the mountains was quite pleasant. I even saw a couple climbers beside the road at one point, and was envious.
