Arrived, again
Oct. 3rd, 2010 08:51 pmI've now arrived in Atlanta GA, well really Lawrenceville, a suburb about 30 miles north & east of Atlanta. Other than about 25 minutes of stop and go due to an accident on I85 southbound into Atlanta, the drive went pretty well. I did drive part of the Blue Ridge Parkway, until I got stuck behind a couple of 'bagos, and bailed. It (The Blue Ridge) is a gorgeous road, and I should try to ride it sometime.
In other news, I'm now hobbling around with one crutch, rather than fully two-crutching. The ankle seems to be handling this without pain, which I think is a good sign for healing. I might be able to walk around (slowly) without the crutch at all, but I'm choosing to take it fairly slowly and carefully.
