I made it safely to Galax. Took icedrake and katfeete out for lunch, then we drove a short bit of the Blue Ridge, and went for a very short (20 minutes, it was enough on crutches) hike in a little picnic area just of the Blue Ridge.
Then, back to their place for a game of Through the Ages.
