Oct. 2nd, 2009 12:43 pmLast weekend at the cottage, on the Friday evening we went out to look at some stars, and saw the longest meteor path I've ever seen -- it crossed about a 1/3 of the visible sky -- so around 60 degrees of arc. Bright the whole way accross, reddish in colour, a bit flickery. I'm guessing it would had to have been a metallic, rather than an ice, bit.
