This is the weekend that was...

Friday evening - Dinner with xiphia, then Heather Dale show also seeing mikepictor there. It was a good show, with Ben & Ja. Apparently they have a 4th band member now, but no sign of him.
Saturday - lunch with oni_neko, then climbing with her. Worked on a 5.10d problem, I can do all the moves independently, but putting them together is looking to be quite difficult.
Saturday evening - reyl's happy divorced party. Good cupcakes, good friends, some fun flirtation. L recognised me as the climbing guy. Met rottenfruit and metawidget and (possibly-) lj-less Tony.
Sunday - played Indonesia with ilanikhan and ironphoenix, who pipped me for the win. I made him fight for it, though. ;) ilanikhan thinks it is a neat game. I'd like to try with more than 3 people to see how that changes the dynamics, too. (foms, you've played before... that would give us 4. ) Then dinner with the two of them at the Yangtze since we failed to get seated at the Mekong without a reservation.
Next weekend: Conclave in Detroit.
On the horizon: another trip to El Potrero Chico (rock-climbing in Mexico) in early November. Wasn't in the plans, but looks like there may be an opportunity. :)
