OMG morning!

gabriel_le got me up at 7:45am this morning to go to Elgin Street diner so she could have a banana split. She ended up with an omelette, but still. Before 8am for breakfast on a Sunday. I love that girl, but way too morning!

Yeah for home

gabriel_le is home. Yay. Was wonderful to see her again, and we had a good evening last night, and morning today. This included a game of Set, 3 games of Bananagrams and a game of Saint Petersburg. We're such geeks!

Climbing & hiking

Went climbing with iclysdale at Spindrift Wall, which was nice. Then we did a bit of free-hiking around the area, just for fun.

In not so happy news, it looks like my banged up shin is far nastier than just the scrapes I thought. Not threatening or anything, but I've got a pretty large area of swelling on the front of my right shin. I think ice is in order.

P.S. Ziplock freezer bags are a great solution for holding ice.
