I've now successfully made it to Bristol, England. The flight was longish feeling, though I think we got in about on time, the queue (line for the non-British) for customs was pretty horribly long, but clearable, and the drive from London to Bristol went well. Now, I just have to try and stay awake a goodly chunk of today.

And, sadly, I don't have a navigation system -- I'd requested one, but they apparently don't have enough to meet demand, so didn't have one available when I arrived. Makes life a bit trickier, that does. At least, here, the signs are in English -- even if I am driving on the wrong (left) side of the road.

Hotel room seems nice enough, though, of course, smallish.

Hmm...

Only the British, perhaps even only the English, would served cooked head lettuce as a vegetable.
