Which isn't all that unusual for me, but it snowed here in Seoul today, which apparently is fairly unusual, though not rare. I asked, and they get snow 4 or 5 times a winter.
One of my students was right up against the window (on the 17th floor), her phone out taking pictures (and, wow, it is so future-shock that that is a normal statement). I asked about it, and she said it was the first time she'd seen snow. Knowing I had students from Japan, China (Beijing), Korea, and Taiwan, I guessed that she was from Taiwan, and she confirmed my guess. Still kind of neat that I (a Canadian) was the effectively cause of her seeing snow for her first time ever, though.
