YOW -> YYZ -> IAH -> MTY
Not my original routing (YOW->EWR->IAH->MTY) -- I woke to a text from United saying that my 6am flight to Newark was delayed due to needed repairs until 10am, which wouldn't make my connections. When I called, I had been rerouted, Ottawa -> Newark -> Tampa -> Houston -> Monterrey, getting in around 11pm. I said this wasn't acceptable, and I'm now flying Air Canada to Houston, then picking up my original flight there.
I've got an awful seat on the Ottawa-Toronto flight (a middle in the back, rather than the business class I'd booked everything in), but I figure that's what was needed to get me on the flight on such short notice, and it is a short flight, so not too bad.
