Changes... always changes?

So, things are, as always in flux.

Turns out the Germany trip is (probably, almost certainly) going to run a week later, so I will come home from Texas for a week.

So, for about a day, it looked like I'd be gone for two weeks (San Jose, Houston), back for a week, gone for two weeks (Germany, Detroit).

But, I got an email from the organiser at GM (Detroit trip) saying they had to do some other training the week of March 22nd, and would I mind pushing back the training to sometime in April, and would the week of April 19th work?

Now, isn't that convenient?

(For those not in the know, Penguicon 2.0 is running April 16-18 in the Detroit area, it is a SF & Linux convention. I had been plannig to attend. This way, work (i.e. GM) will get to pay my way to Penguicon. )

Of course... this could change yet again. It's more than a month away, it won't be stable for any length of time.

Good grief. Are you EVER home??

My room-mate (L) occasionally refers to me as the "absentee landlord".

It doesn't seem like I've been home much, this year. But I have hopes of getting 3 or 4 weeks in a row sometime this year.

Well as long as you don't decide to stay home during Ad Astra, that's all good.

I do plan to make it to Ad Astra, and have booked a hotel room. D may be with me, too. :)
