I took a walk today, around noon, which may not have been the best time. But, I was looking to get full sun for a while, to try and reset my internal clock a bit. I don't think it worked.

And boy was it hot. Or, maybe, it was just quite warm, but I decided to walk up hill a lot - Haifa is not a flat town. But I was quite covered in sweat within about 1/2 an hour.

The not flat, and the Bahai temple in its gardens were such solid land marks that, at least I didn't worry about getting lost in the twisty-windy little streets and stairs.

Also, actually watched Captain America: Civil War on the flight over. How I keep up with the occasional movie -- long flights.

I lived there for six years; did you know that?

I did not. I think I knew that you spent time in Israel, but not where or how long.

Well, technically not Haifa but Nesher. But walking distance from the Technion gates. Speaking of which, I hope you got a chance to visit the campus. It's beautiful and -- very important! -- shady.

Probably won't get to Technion. It would be a taxi trip each way -- so probably more than I'll feel up for. Jetlag sucks.

Sounds like an interesting city... the heat would probably get to me though.

Probably. I've been told it is much cooler this week than it was last week -- it is actually "nice".
