I continue to be single.
I continue to have awesome friends.
I continue to climb a lot. Is anyone surprised?

I got out climbing Friday afternoon-evening, and found that (as expected) I can no longer pull the over-hanging crimp moves on Sausages (5.10c at Down Under), but otherwise was climbing well. I led Ethics Police at Eastern Block easily and smoothly -- which often hasn't been the case.

Saturday a bunch of us went out to Montagne d'Argent, and I also climbed pretty solidly. Not pushing anything on grade, but solid on lead.

The bugs have been quite light this spring, so far. Though it has also been dry. We're getting a thorough raining today, so that may mean the biters will be back. We'll have to see.

It looks like I'll be headed to Yosemite for a week at the end of September. I also want to find another 1-2 weeks of climbing holiday this year; which means finding someone who wants to do such a trip.

New game: Climbing route name, or local indie band?

I have noticed that bugs have been light here as well! It's great! :D

Problem is, I'm sure there are some climbs that are actually band names. So, sometimes the answer would be both. Hm, maybe that isn't a problem. :)

Glad the recovery continues well; good luck with the trips!
