Up the patriarchy!
Nov. 19th, 2005 11:53 pmIt was, I must say, a very odd evening of gaming. I'm not sure why... I think I'll blame it on Cat. Or, maybe, iclysdale. We accumulated seven people, and decided to play unexploded cow. Cat said she had a house rule about wearing a cowboy hat when exploding cows, then iclysdale said he had a house rule about acting out the cow death. There were some very interesting cow deaths acting out. And, Cat managed the win. Also, several drinks were consumed by a number of people. We then gained one player, but lost two, and tried to play Illuminati, you know the old game, where if you sneezed, or even breathed hard, the money flew half way accross the table. Given the "happiness" of some players, and the ongoing silliness, this was fun, but people pumpkined before anything could be concluded.
So, apparently, not an evening of silly gaming, rather than serious (I blame The Patriarchy) -- but it was fun, and the company was good.
