dagibbsI'm in a Hampton Inn in Lake Placid, and going to climb Chapel Pond Slab (and probably other stuff) with Chantalle tomorrow. The hotel has a free hot breakfast, and it is even early enough (6am) that we can get started at a decent (for climbing) time. Yay. This is way more civilized than driving down morning of the climbing, and I used points so the stay is free, too. Travel points.
In other news, I've had a work trip to Taiwan approved for mid-October, and have that booked in business class, so crossing the Pacific won't be utterly horrible.
