And, I don't seem to be the worse for wear! Yay!

[edit]
I just realized I forgot my shampoo and conditioner. Wonder what the hotel's bottles of joy are going to do to my hair?

It'll be bad. But just think, you've been looking for an excuse to cut your hair for a while now...

Yup, that's the excuse I've been searching for. But, instead, to make myself feel better, I trimmed my beard instead.

Well, that's something, I guess.

You're in California? Hi :-) If you come through SF, give a holler... happy to do lunch.

I'm in Fremont/Newark, but won't be as far north as S.F. And... well... lunch is being eaten with the customers, and anyways, is always pretty tightly defined. If I have flexibility, it is always dinner/evenings.

What's your regular brand of shampoo and conditioner? (I may give it a try.)

Gad, my brain fails me.

I'll have to remember to check when I get back to Ottawa. Right now, all my brain is coming up with is "means-like protinaceous".

leolac kindly informs me I use "Pantene ProV ", I use the formulation that is labelled, IIRC, "sleek and smooth". I didn't like one of the formulations... I'd have to look at a bottle to get the exact one I didn't like... but I think it was something like "classicly clean".

Thanks for the info. I may try a small bottle.

I don't know if it'll be worse than the Pantene ProV you usually suffer your locks through.

My hair seems to like the stuff... leaves it manageable and everything.

I find that hotel shampoo is usually a good quality.

I've found that hotel shampoo/conditioner is very hit/miss. Far too often, I find that they have only "conditioning shampoo", or sometimes a two-in-one (shampoo & conditioner), neither of which seem to do much of a job of conditioning (the latter a bit better than the former).

And sometimes the stuff has been utter crap. This time it was ok stuff, but not as nice a job as what I'm used to.
