Good weekend

dagibbsFriday, I thought about going out to the Porn collective movie, but instead rebuilt my comics links.
Saturday, I slept in, and vegged rather than making it to buttongirl's pre-cook, but then went over to tangerine_jello's place, and spent 5 hours or so chatting with her. We have firmly established, for all those that have asked, that we're not dating. We also established that there is still chemistry, and that we should absolutely avoid good-night kisses, as they result in lack of sleep, and other problems. It was a great evening spent continuing to reconnect.
Sunday, I had a wonderful early morning visit from my sweetie, then slept in until about noon. Got up, got a call from pezchica, who I was going to meet for the afternoon, and settle on a hike past the bird sanctuary and along some of the paths in the stony swamp area. We fed chic-a-dees from our hands, which is always a delight. I haven't done that in years. She also fed me some good turkey-barley soup before we went out hiking. Back to her place, and continued chatting until 6pm or so, when Cat (room-mate) said she was going to cook curry for us. Wandered over, were joined by Ali, then leolac, her D, and her German for a wonderful meal. Amazing that Cat could throw together a good meal for 8 people (rather than 4) on minimal notice. Mmmmm. I supplied some coconut buns for dessert, and chocolate-raspberry martinies for after-dinner drinks. These were appreciated bye those that could have them, and wanted them. A pleasant evening, completely devoid of any innuendo went by nicely, until pezchica pumpkined, and people wandered off.
Yes, a satisfying weekend, with good connecting with a couple of people, and some fun group socializing.
