dagibbsChecked-in and through customs, and on my way to Sacramento. Hopefully the flights will go ok.
Luggage came in at 50lbs and 35lbs -- so I didn't need to re-arrange anything. Yay.
35lbs was climbing backpack with, mostly, the stuff I'd bring up a trad climb with me. Hm. Probably means that I carry 25lbs or so of extra weight whenever I'm leading a trad route, especially something multi-pitch. And my approach weight would about match that weight -- I wouldn't have the sleeping bag, but I would have a fair bit of water for extra weight to make up for it.
