The US government has failed to pass a budget, and is (mostly) shutdown. I'm supposed to be in Yosemite National Park on Sunday, for a week of climbing with the American Alpine Club. I hope this shutdown doesn't last more than a day or two.
I told you about being in the Canyon backcountry during the round of shutdown stupidity two years ago, right? When we went to bed, I was expecting to spend the next day hiking out with the park rangers...
