dagibbs | Many days without internet - adventures and sickness

It has been many days without (much) internet access. We've had adventures, rain, and I've gotten sick.

After the Lakes, we headed north (again) to Glencoe, Scotland where we met up with Kate's sister, her husband, and their child (Amelia, Brad, Russel, respectively). That would be Sunday.

Monday we tried to climb in/near Glen Nevis (Pol Dubh?), got rained off the 2nd pitch of something (which I lead in the soaking wet, quite scary), then hiked in to Glen Nevis proper, and saw a very pretty waterfall.

Tuesday, we looked at an impressive climb near Glencoe, but decided it was too cold and wet. Then we followed Brad and Amelia back to Aberdeen, doing a wet-crags tour of Scotland along the way.

Wednesday, we had good weather (finally), and hit a sea-cliff near Aberdeen, I got in a couple climbs before I became too sick to climb, so spent the rest of the day sitting in the car napping.

Thurday we drove south, back to the Stanage area (near Sheffield).

Today, I'm still sick, so I'm sitting in the hotel room doing a bit of internet stuff, while Jex and Phil climb at Stanage Edge. I hope they're having a good time.

Being sick while on holiday sucks.
