Food prospects much improved...

I took a stroll around the neighbourhood, and I've spotted a few restaurants, including a BBQ place (I'm assuming Korean BBQ) with English signs labeling it as such, a Pho place (with English labels on pictures outside the restaurant), and a Korean restaurant with pictures of bibimbap and fried mandu in the window, so I have hope of finding food there, too.

I tried going to the hotel's business center to print out some pictures with Korean labels of food that tlatoni linked me to, but (amusingly, or maybe sadly) the browser on that computer didn't display the Korean characters. Hm... loaded the page on my Playbook... I can carry that with me, and point. :)

Electronic devices with photos you can show and point are wonderful when visiting foreign cuisines (either in a foreign country, or in a hole-in-the-wall local place where no one speaks your language well). Yay progress!
