I've made it to Washington-Dulles. We were delayed on the way out of Las Vegas -- apparently there was a "mechanical" issue, and apparently that was that they needed a sticker that said something was sealed. The something was sealed, but it also needed a sticker that said that, and they didn't have a sticker. At least I had a long enough stop-over here that I don't have to worry about missing my next flight.

I'm guessing... but it took them something like 45 minutes to resolve a problem with a sticker.

I deal with this kind of thing at work sometimes... depending on the issue, 45 minutes may be really fast for a sticker.

Logistical emergencies are an occasional Thing, yes... many of our large international sales are arranged by letter of credit, and the conditions on those require that the minutiae be correct and on time, even if it means turning the company upside-down for half a day.
