Reminder: gaming tonight, now with AC

Just a reminder that people are invited over for gaming this evening, starting at 7pm.  And, to make things a bit more comfortable I've now got a window AC on the main floor, which should take the edge off the heat.

Game system familiarity wasn't an issue - we played AD&D and GURPS so I knew both.

It's more that it was a way to quickly enter a game I wouldn't be repeating AND get to take part in a new gaming group (fun for me and them). I always hated it when people wanted a new character just for them in case they played more than one game session, it just took too long. At least in GURPS that was out of the question (unless they had a premade character, also yuck).

Really? Actually, I think it is that you have too much of an irregular travel schedule. I really don't want to play a regular game, myself. Of course, I really loved making new characters and seeing how they interacted with other people's characters. Once I did that, I wanted a new game, unless there was a good GM. But that was the truly hard part.
