Travel, stage 1 complete

I'm now in Newark, on my way to London. We got in about 20-25 minutes late, but I had (on purpose) a 3-hour layover here, so no worries about missing/making the next flight.

I bumped into my future room-mate, Amelia, in the airport departure lounge... she was (supposed to be) on her way to Vancouver (by way of Chicago) but had run into trouble. (Fuel leak on her flight, weather delays out of Chicago for the next one.) It was nice to have someone to chat with at the airport, and I was able to give her house keys, so she could start to shift stuff in if she wanted to. (And, we didn't have to arrange to meet up to do this once I was back in town after my next set of travels.)

I think perhaps it's easier to find you at the airport, than anywhere else. :)
