Also, we were nowhere near the earthquake.

I was climbing with Celine, Kelly, and Lyle today (and Dave, who just arrived yesterday without a climbing partner also wandered by). Celine's back gave out after a couple climbs, and Dave was tired (from travel) so wandered off after one climb. Then Lyle took a fall on lead -- he was way up a long route, so fell at least 20 feet, and hurt an ankle. The lower off was tricky -- he was high enough he couldn't quite lower all the way to the ground on a 70m rope, and there was gear recovery stuff (there are still some draws on the wall). Then a couple semi-locals (Ann and Dottie) drove him down to Ann's place, and he has now headed off to get X-rays. I'm glad it wasn't me hurting the ankle, definitely. Still, it meant I didn't get a lot of climbing in. (Only 4 pitches.)

[edit] His ankle is sprained, but not broken. [/edit]

Slip of the Tongue (5.7) - lead. Hard for a Potrero 5.7.
Sabroso (5.9) - follow. Solid 5.9.
Upside Down Cracker (5.8) - follow. Solid 5.8.
Fupa (5.9/5.8) - lead. Soft 5.9 to 5.8.

Glad you're intact, and I hope he recovers quickly from the sprain!
