My random sources of firewood over the last few years have petered out, and I finally bought some firewood. I now have a (face) cord of wood to stack in the garage. My project for the weekend, I guess. ;)
Is your area full of signs saying "Don't move firewood" and threatening legal sanctions? The emerald ash borer came through here a few years back and this area lost a lot of shade trees to it. And Ontario has the signs, outside Windsor, these days; I assume it's making its way east. Has it gotten to you guys?
I am in a "don't move firewood" zone because of the Emerald Ash Borer -- but the person I bought the firewood from is outside the zone. He's allowed to move wood into the zone, but not around within the zone, nor to take it out again.
