Got a call on Wednesday, but missed it as in training. Called back today. He is in Ottawa and will be over to look at things next week.

He thinks a couple weeks. Apparently they shouldn't say 21 days any more cause they, apparently, can't do that?
Call (him) back end of month if I don't hear anything.

Date: 2011-09-16 07:23 pm (UTC)Very similar to the experience I had with the county, where my neighbours had a water line installed, and then I had to live with a mound of red mud along the edge of my front yard for about two months. In the end, the bastard who was supposed to finish the work smoothed it out, but filled in my ditch in the process. It appears to still work for drainage, so I'm not too upset over it. Conclusion: Don't pay your subcontractors until the work is actually finished.
