Tent?

Does any [edit: Ottawa] someone have a reasonably small tent I could borrow for the long weekend? (Not for KG -- going climbing and camping for that in the Adirondacks.)

green_ogre has a reasonably small tent. He is unpredictable with his LJ reading and horrible with his email, you should give him a call.

Given how often you come to Waterloo, it was possible this might be an option.

Yes, I'm not saying you shouldn't have offered, it was very reasonable from your point of view -- but I should have known that I wouldn't be in (say) Waterloo between now and then, and filtered so as to not confuse others about where I would be able to pick up a tent from.

And, if you think the tent is quite small, it might actually be too small. It is the one you took sailing, right?

You said, small, so yes, the one I took sailing was small.

I also have a larger tent. Which is probably also reasonably small. I have taken that tent on canoe trips.

Yeah, I tried to be careful with that "reasonably small". I don't want a 16-person gazebo, but something in the 2-person to 4-person size range.
