I'm not in Olathe (Kansas City area), Kansas. w00t. Or something. Apparently we're in the middle of a heat wave -- there were extreme heat warnings all over the place. I think maybe I won't be doing much outside this week.

There was a tornado in Ottawa today. Trees uprooted...I even saw two parked cars with massive tree trunks that fell onto them. I hope your house is ok. Shall I check for you tomorrow?

iclysdale and fairest saw the tornado -- it went near (or through?) Bluesfest, actually.

I expect my house is probably ok -- I'm sure Sara or clinkerfiasco would have let me know if something had happened to it, but I do appreciate the offer.

Violent winds, not a tornado, which blew the main stage back onto the Parkway. Still, scary.

(So tempting to say "So if you're not in Kansas, where are you then?", but I'll refr... um.)
