Another full weekend!

I venued (but not hosted, except in minor ways like mixing chocolate-raspberry fauxtinis) a birthday party for Rayne on Friday evening, with an opening act -- a house concert by Elizabeth Bruce. Both the concert and the party were excellent. This, of course, kept me up moderately late.

Saturday I was up fairly early, for a day at Calypso with shamanatrix. Lots of fun.

Then, this morning, up for a day of climbing. Out to Calabogie with Celine and Jess, and of course, Alibi, Celine's dog. We had a good time, and got in a pretty solid set of climbs -- with the weather improving as the day went along from overcast to bright and sunny by the end of the day.

Then, home a quick shower and off to my parents' place for a last evening and good-byes to my sister and niecelings who fly home to B.C. tomorrow morning.

Now, David is the tired David.

Am curious- Alibi goes climbing? So cute! I guess the dog just runs around at the bottom of the cliff and barks at the crazy humans doing weird things?

For Alibi, it is a day-long walk in the woods. He does have his own pack, though, so he can help carry stuff to the bottom of the cliff. And, he doesn't bark at the humans doing weird things -- he is really quite chill about it, actually. Also, every puddly, mud patch or other wet spot he can find, he walks in, drinks from, or rolls in. Cause, you know, he's a dog. :)
