Wow, it's pouring rain. And this isn't the thunderstorm-type downpour that will finish in an hour or so, but the all-day-long type soaking rain that could run for hours. Why, you may ask, does this matter? Because, of course, I rode my motorcycle to work today. It just doesn't look like I'll be dry on the trip home.

Just so long as you're *safe* on the way home. :)

Thanks. ;)

Still got full leathers, and the rain suit is an extra layer of protection -- and wet asphalt doesn't abrade as much as dry asphalt.

But, actually, I've ridden in the rain a lot of times, it isn't a particularly new experience. I've ridden through a tropical depression, where it was raining hard enough I could barely see the tail lights of the car ahead of me, even. That was when I was young, and too dumb to pull off the road, though.

On an encouraging note, it usually doesn't rain around end of business day on days when I bring my umbrella. As I did remember to bring it today, you may be safe and dry. ;-)

It is barely drizzling over here.

It was barely drizzling when I arrived at work, around 9:30 this morning, though it hadn't been raining in centretown. Rain usually moves west-east in this town, so maybe you'll get the rain in an hour or two.

I wish I could engage in the work conversations like this one when I am actually at work...i feel a little left out.

But then again, I would have to get an office job in order to do so...*SHUDDER* - so nevermind, =).
