Sore throat

I've had a generally pretty mild sore throat for the past two weeks. No other real symptoms -- and lots of energy, just a soar throat that kind of waxed and waned a bit in severity. That is unusual for me -- I often will start a cold with a sore throat, then it moves through cough, nasal, chest, etc -- but this didn't. So, I went to the walk-in clinic, and their opinion is that other than the throat I am pretty healthy, that there is a long-lasting viral cold going around this spring (often 4-6 weeks for people) and that I seem to have this viral thing, but my immune system is keeping it better suppressed with milder symptoms than most other people have had. (But, if I get another infection on top of it, I should come back in.)

Otherwise, take care of myself. Eat well, get rest. Got to work, etc. So... I guess that's what I do.

Also, I shouldn't be particularly infectious.

Yay for taking care of yourself! And I guess that you also take your mutli-vitamins on top of that...?
*hugs*

4-6 weeks???? Gahhh! I had a bit of a sore throat yesterday and am now on to coughing, aching, fever and chills alternating with sweats despite the AC.

I had better not have that strain. *cries*
