We were headed for Home Cliff today, since we wanted to be back in town relatively early, but got to the parking only to discover a large group (of newbs) was headed up there. We redirected to Farm Rock instead. We did 3 climbs -- but they probably averaged around 30m each -- and that was a good day's climbing. I got the red-point on Epinephrine, which is on the face where I broke my ankle 2 1/2 years ago -- so psychologically it was a tough lead. And, in practice, too. Quite run-out at one point.

Tired now. Off for an evening of gaming in a bit, though. Shower first. :)

EEk, sounds like a challenging day. It must have been spooky climbing where you broke your ankle 2.5 yrs ago. Maybe this experience will help you get over any residual psychological trauma you may still have regarding that injury. Glad you took advantage of the beautiful weather. My 3hr jog/run/walk was so beautiful! I did quite a bit of bird-watching too (forest next to cite collegiale campus has many different species).

Yes, it was a challenging, but good day. And, yes, it was a bit spooky being back leading on the face where I broke my ankle -- not the same route, but a couple meters over from there.

Glad you managed to get out, too.
