Con is over

I had a good time. Lots of flirtatious fun Friday and Saturday evenings. Tried a few new (to me) Scotches. (mightyix continues to throw mighty parties). I made it to 3 programming items -- a Swing dance workshop, the dance, and the bitch panel. Item 2 is why I made it to item 3. Saddest con dance evar! And, I mean evar. And I've been to a lot of con dances.

Headed home tomorrow morning, whenever I wake up.

Glad you had a good time. It is sad that the dance was disappointing. New Scotches? Will you be expanding your collection as a result? ;)

Many of them are unusual or hard-to-find. At least one is completely custom. (He bought an oak barrel, (re-)aged port in it, then (re-)aged a scotch in that barrel.)

So, not entirely likely to be added to my collection.

Wow, it'll have to be sad indeed to take that prize. I've seen poorly-attended dances that were still great to be at, and a few disappointing or uneven DJs that packed then emptied the dance floor within an hour.

Also inquiring which were the new whiskies. :)
