Gaming reminder and other stuff...

So, in case you've forgotten, gaming, here, Sunday, 1pm.


ragnhildr, do you have a copy of Unexploded Cow yet? I dropped by Fandom II today, and they had two copies in stock. Likely, they will still tomorrow if you'd like to get one, or if you'd like me to pop over and get you one which you could pick up on Sunday.

So, Greg decided to not move in, after all. So, I spent all that effort to clear all my stuff out of the third floor, and now it's not needed. Ah well, I guess I did get some useful organisation of stuff, and disposal of garbage, done as a result of that. So, anyone need a place to stay in central Ottawa? I'm a bit annoyed with how long it took him to actually let me know -- I heard several days he wouldn't be moving in from others, and only today did he leave a message saying he wouldn't be.

Tuesday evening, pezchica invited me over for dinner, prompted by my suggestion that we get together for dinner. She cooked some good food, and I greatly enjoyed the evening spent talking with her. And, scubajim was even sociable for a while. Then leolac came home around 1:30am, still uber-bouncy, and we finally got to bed around 3am.

Wednesday evening was more work on the bedroom.

Thursday evening was a dance lesson, starting to seriously prepare for a "show" we'll have to / get to do on the 25th. We'll be doing a Rhumba in front of the people who show up for the party (at Fred Astaire dance studio) that evening. And, we also taped, then primed the bedroom.

And, this evening, I really should be up there starting to paint. Maybe.

Tomorrow will be painting, and dinner with succulentpoet, and probably followed by an evening of social tea, chit-chat, and flirtation with her and leolac.

Then, gaming on Sunday, and my new washing machine (small front-loader) and dryer should be arriving. Yay new appliances. (Yes, I'm already spending Cat's rent money on appliances.)

Yes, completely irresponsible. I consoled you quietly (in my head) by saying that you had to input that effort eventually since you wanted to rent that section eventually, but you could have directed that energy into getting Cat's room ready, as she is *actually* moving in.

As to your other comment on diving, the only person who can really kick him off the boat is Ron. On Wednesdays, anyone can come. On the weekends, it's closed to club members, but being a club member just means you've paid your 50 dollar dues. I've been trying to vote a particular know-it-all off the island.. um, boat.. for about a year. So far, I've been unsuccessful. I can just ensure to never get randomly paired with him... but, that's not foolproof, either! :D
