Love

I think I may love [livejournal.com profile] leolac.

Yes, she ate the rest of the bag of Lassy Mogs cookies, but in return she left a basket of fresh, ripe, Ontario peaches in my kitchen. I've got peach juice in my beard! Mmmmmmmmmm.

Lassy Mog are okay...

Fresh, juicy sweet Ontario peaches are better.

We won't ask how you got the peach juice in yer beard! ;)

With really good, ripe, peachs, they... just spurt juice, and it dribbles all over everything when you bite into them, and eat them. It runs down your chin, it runs down your hands -- I used hold a paper towel when I ate them as a kid. Now, when the juice runs down my chin, it runs into my beard, instead of dripping off the bottom. I ate this one over the sink.

That sounds like food-porn to me!

Eating properly ripe peaches is a very sensual pleasure.

Stop it, you're turning me on. :P

[identity profile] dagibbs.livejournal.com 2005-08-09 09:24 pm (UTC)(link)
I go back to the kitchen, and pick up another, squeeze it gently, feeling the soft smooth/furry flesh gently yielding under the pressure of my fingers. I carry it to the sink, and gently, but firmly stroke it all over under the running water. Finally, when it is prepared -- the soft fuzz wet all over, I raise it to my mouth, and slowly and savouringly sink my teeth into its soft, yielding flesh, as I feel its juices spurt into my mouth, and onto my face.

I love peaches!

I was inspired by your posting of "food pron". ;)

You really are evil sometimes. :P

[identity profile] leolac.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 08:19 am (UTC)(link)
but in such a yummy way, ;)

[identity profile] leolac.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 08:18 am (UTC)(link)
why the hell do you have to be at work when I read stuff like this from you?!? Lol...

[identity profile] dagibbs.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 08:32 am (UTC)(link)
Because we're rarely reading LJ when we're both at home, my peach.

[identity profile] leolac.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 08:36 am (UTC)(link)

You're thinking it was self-preservation on my part?

[identity profile] succulentpoet.livejournal.com 2005-08-11 07:40 am (UTC)(link)
self-preservation from being ravished? perhaps?

[identity profile] dagibbs.livejournal.com 2005-08-11 07:44 am (UTC)(link)
Ravished to the ends of my endurance, to utter exhaustation, and beyond. Yup.

[identity profile] dagibbs.livejournal.com 2005-08-11 08:09 am (UTC)(link)
Death of exhaustion is, in my books, a bad thing. And I'm not talking "le petit mort" here.

[identity profile] dagibbs.livejournal.com 2005-08-09 09:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow, I think I need another.

I cut my peaches into quarters. I find I don't have to waste as much clinging to the pit, and it also tends to waste less juice.

Fresh peaches are a joy however, and I agree, better than lassy mogs.

[identity profile] dagibbs.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 07:21 am (UTC)(link)
These were ripe enough that nothing clung to the pit. :)

I empathize with those happy-love endorphins =+)

good to hear of someone else's happy times

I wish you many pleasant peach-eating experiences of your own to share. =)
