Ah, hotels in Europe. Not just expensive internet, but expensive SUCKY internet access. 20 pounds/day for slow connection with lots of failed connections. Ick.
I remember this being the case 7 years ago when I was in Scandinavia.
Of course:
a) I was mostly staying in hostels or budget hotels b) 7 years is a while ago in terms of expectations (why the last time I was in europe was even BEFORE I was on LJ. Like OMG!)
