Third floor clear...

Well, I've cleared all my stuff out of the 3rd floor, which engendered much organising and rearranging of other stuff in my house. Now, it is clear, empty, and swept, ready for Greg to move his stuff in when he's ready.

The small bedroom on the 2nd floor, currently acting as storage space, has become quite crowded with stuff. One thing my house is really short on is storage space, that is, closets. The main floor has only one, small, closet. My bedroom has the only large closet on the 2nd floor, and there is no non-bedroom storage. The actic is a bit too messy right now for anything you would mind getting completely dusty and dirty, and the basement is too damp. I guess there's the garage, for things that don't mind freezing, but it's kind of full of stuff, too. Maybe I need to clear out my garage. Hey, everybody with stuff in my garage, come and get it! (Well, some of it is my stuff, too.)

Now, need to finish Cat's bedroom. We're getting closer, at least.

So who are Greg and Cat? I see you have filled your house up again. Doesn't take long.

Both are people who friends told me were looking for a place to stay.

Greg is a friend of succulentpoet. He is a poet and is involved in the local poetry community, has a kid who lives in Montreal and may visit occasionally, and I don't know much more.

Cat is a friend of pezchica. She is a scuba diver, seperated (or divorced?), has (relatively) recently moved to Ottawa from somewhere out west, and I don't know much more.

I like living with people. A few months alone were a nice break, but will be good to have people in the house again. Well, more people, since leolac is people too. It's just never been very clear how long she'll be staying for.

I smell a garage sale! sooner or later it will come to that. :P

I've occasionally had a garage sale. I might have another. Or, I might freecycle some of the stuff -- done that, too.
