Good dance lesson -- learning to follow, too

I had a good dance lesson today. I spent the first 20 minutes or so working on following -- I chose Waltz, since the core steps are pretty similar lead/follow, so I wouldn't have to learn a lot of new footwork, and could just focus on the following (rather than leading) part of things. Apparently, I follow pretty well -- by the end of it, I think I was doing well enough that I could follow for a full Waltz. Nothing fancy, though I followed some stuff that was a bit fancier than just the basic, too -- but that was trickier.

Also, my Viennese Waltz continues to improve nicely. Lorna says I'm good enough to actually dance it, now, and that I've picked it up very quickly. Yay. ;)

Also practiced my Salsa and a bit of Swing. May have to re-introduce Quickstep again sometime.

;) Yeah! You were being me! I think it's time for me to revisit Viennese. Now that you have it down, I need a refresher on the footwork. We will make this WORK, dammit! I am determined to not have pretzel legs eventually.

A little bit, yes. Though I'd generally only have the problems on the first step of the dance, then it would be fine. Well, once or twice I had to correct at the last minute -- but was able to dance through it.
