packing *flails*

dagibbsI get two 50-lb suitcases (plus I bring a back pack on board). I want to pack clothes for the con -- and I want to be fancier than normal for this. And clothes for a week of work. And climbing clothes & gear. And dance shoes. And boots for the con. And my long leather coat would be nice for con -- but not maybe appropriate for work. Or maybe... I could wear that. And then there's the toys. They weigh TOO MUCH. And the case for the violet wand -- it doesn't look very big... until you put it in a suitcase, and suddenly the suitcase is full. I wonder if the bottle of port will make it? (There's others on the way, and being purchased there, but still, I wanted to bring one myself.)

Luckily, one of the dykelings has a bathroom scale. Luggage doesn't sit on it well, but I can do subtraction.

Actually scratch that. They did stock one, at least in November.
