Busy Sunday

A Snowball...

On Friday I was thinking about how leolac had missed out on my first BBQ (which I did alone), and that I wasn't doing anything on Sunday, so I decided I was going to barbecue for dinner on Sunday, and invite her and her room-mate. And I'm out with (still lj-less)Lorayne for dinner on Friday, and I mention the solo BBQ I did, and she said, "why didn't you invite me!". So, I mention that I'm BBQing on Sunday, and invite her. After dinner, when I get home, I leave a message on leolac's and her room-mate's machine inviting them for dinner on Sunday. And then Marisol is helping me move my couch on Saturday, so I invite her and Patrick, and she asks if she can invite Farrel, so I say, sure. And Saturday evening, concordantnexus shows up at my door, and we go out for dinner, and I invite him for BBQ and offer to help him landscape at his mom's during the day on Sunday. And while he's here, leolac calls back and says she and room-mate are coming, too. So, I did a BBQ dinner party for 8 people today, and it was good.

I server a mixed grill of hamburgers, steak, and lamb chops; onion garnish (sliced thick, put in a tin pie plate with a bit of olive oil, and cooked on the bbq); mixed green salad; rosemary garlic potatoes; and fresh cherries or apple pie (bought) a la mode for dessert.

And Malika dropped by later to socialize, too.

P.S. Landscaping is hard work. I claim it as my exercise for the day.
