Another pleasant evening...

The sun came out just about when I was leaving work, so I went home to switch to the bike to pick shyska up for dinner. I hadn't ridden in a week, so was really good to get out on two wheels again. I'm glad I caught the window, though -- started raining again, and looks miserable for another while.

We followed it by a couple games of Othello and a couple of games of GIPF, then some chatting.

Yeah, Othello. I never actually played it much -- but back in university, Waterloo computer science club used to run an annual computer Othello tournament, and a few of my friends would write programs to compete. So, I got exposed to a fair bit of Othello strategy talk, how to analyze positions, how to play a better game. It seems to have rubbed off.
