Unhappy about weather reports

So, I've been looking at the weather reports for this upcoming weekend. They look rainy. This makes me unhappy. If it were June, or even mid-May, I would not mind riding the bike through the rain. But, in April, this will mean not just rain, but cold. Even if it were just a trip to Montreal, which is relatively short, it would be ok. Rain already makes things colder, but spring rain in combination with a long ride is a recipe for hypothermia. It is, unfortunately, looking like I may have to drive to Penguicon. :(

Of course, I can't complain too much -- the last two weekends, for my trips to Toronto, have been nigh 100% perfect spring riding weather. And, as we all know, two out of three ain't bad.

I should try to be at the con well before 4 PM because that is when programming starts so I guess we will not carpool.
