skip=750

I am almost up to date on LJ. Except, you see, when you reach skip=750, LJ won't let you skip backwards any further. So I am missing some posts between July 18th and 21st.

Thursday looks reasonable for taking the bike to Montreal -- well, env Canada says it looks good, while the weather network says it looks ok. Monday coming home looks more likely to be wet, but that doesn't matter as much.

So. it looks like I'll have a bike in Montreal. I expect I will pay for hotel parking -- I wonder if it they will charge less for the bike than for a car.

I am SO looking forward to a shower that has more than 1.5 minutes (approximately) of hot water.

Try making a filter of journals you really want to read. Then 750 entries will probably be enough. I keep this filter set up for whenever I return from a trip.

I have 50 items appearing on each page, so I can get up to skip=950. :-)

LJ won't show you anything over 2 weeks old in your friends list, so once you hit _that_ barrier, if you want to see what you missed, you need to single-step through your friends hunting, but I made an A-M and a N-Z filter, and between them, I run out of 2 weeks before I run out of 1000 entries.
