Wow... I'm getting a lot of it.

Monday evening: 2 hours dance.
Tuesday evening: 3 hours climbing.
Wednesday evening: 3 hours dance.
Thursday evening: 4 hours bouldering and climbing.
Friday evening: 2.5 hours dance.
Saturday: 8 hours outdoor rock climbing.
Sunday: day of rest.

A few years ago, in a week, I might do nothing that constituted exercise.

Have people started commenting on your looking more in shape yet? Or has that point long since happened and I'm just behind the times?

I had comments from my girlfriend (before we broke up) about my back, arms, and shoulders looking nicer. But, in general, haven't gotten much in the way of comments. And, I'm not sure I look all that much more in shape, at least not in the obvious ways of having dropped a bunch of weight or anything.

Good plan.

Hm... are you going to make it to Worldcon?

Most definitely. Tickets and hotel booked, roommate arranged, various local people notified. I was kind of assuming you'd be there, actually, or I'd have said something :)

Yes, I will be there. Hotel booked, though no tickets. Well, ok, I've got tickets back from Switzerland for the day before Worldcon -- but that's a bit different.

Will be good to see you again, we must arrange to go out for a meal together or something.

I'm sure we'll be up for that -- plus, you're pretty familiar with Montreal, are you not? I'm sure we can find something better than the hotel restaurant, given a semi-local tour guide :)

I know enough to not get lost, mostly, in some areas of town. Finding good restaurants... not so much. But, they should have a restaurant guide -- and if not, we can ask actual Montrealers.

Either way, sounds like an excellent idea. I expect specifics will be determined when we're all actually there. But yeah, count on it.

Because *of course* there would be an LJ community! :)

Thanks!

Now that is impressive, I only do about 5 hours of martial arts a week.

Yup. Today, feel the ache, especially in the back/shoulders area. And the hands a bit.
