Breakfast/brunch TO/KW this Friday?

Anyone interested in meeting me for breakfast/brunch in either Toronto or KW area this Friday (May 1st). I'll be in Toronto Thursday night, and heading onward to Michigan, but am interested in doing a morning meal before I head out, or on my way.

Depending where in TO you are, perhaps we could do breakfast... Unfortunately, you'll need to be down nearish the lake, as I'll mostly likely be about by bike.

I'm at Alana's, which is 142 Spadina Rd (just south of Dupont), but there is a subway stop nearby, and I could easily get down close to the lake by subway, meet you for breakfast, then get back to my car and leave after breakfast.

You can probably suggest a where better than me. Also, I don't know how early you'd need to be.

Well possibly the easiest place to meet (though definitely not the cheapest) is the Raintree Cafe (formerly Movenpick) at BCE Place. If you're more into value for your money then we could go back to Zoulpy's at King & Sherbourne. (That's where we last met for breakfast.) I'm sure I've seen other places open to serve breakfast, but probably can't visualise them well enough to give adequately clear directions.

As to time, I usually get downtown between 8:30 and 9:00, but there's great variability right now because I haven't even decided yet if I'll be riding in or not. What's your timing like? It might be easier for me to set a time if I have an idea what works better for you...
