Did a spin around the city. Ottawa River parkway all the way out to Carling and back, then accross town, stop in the market, buy maple sugar, back on bike, out the Rockliffe Parkway to Aviation Parkway, up to Ogilvie road, accross to Riverside Drive, to Bronson, then home again.

Was very good to get out on the bike again. Now starts the season of checking the weather every morning in order to determine how I'll be getting to work that day.

I still think Ad Astra will be too early to travel by bike, but Penguicon might not be.

I started up 'Angel this weekend, and she's sounding great. I'm hoping to spend next weekend getting her ready for the season. Woohoo! :)

I thought Ad Astra was like two months ago... Does it move weekends? Seems like it used to be in early February.

Anyway, I won't ask about the maple syrup. I much prefer butterscotch. :)

Ad Astra has changed weekends a couple times over the decades I've been attending. I think I first remember it being a June convention, actually. It was earlier in the year for a while, but I think it's been April for a couple years (at least) now.

Yeah, it was in June for quite a while. My first several AAs were in June. I don't recall exactly when it switched, but it may have been when it first had to move downtown.
