I know that Chili freezes well. Today I started the experiment to determine how well Lentil Barley Stew freezes.

The problem will be to remember that I'm doing this experiment when it comes time to thaw it for dinner, rather than just thawing & eating it.

I don't recall ever having problems freezing barley or lentils, though it has been awhile since I had any room to freeze much. Rice I have had problems with, and cooked pasta, but lentils, barley, and soups all seemed to freeze alright for me in the past.
