Mmmmmmmmmmm BBQ Beans

So, finally made it to the BBQ place. Mmmm BBQ beans, southern baked pork & beans, where the chunks of pork in it are big enough you need to cut them with a knife, rather than the sucky little bits of pork you get in your canned pork & beans. Mmmm BBQ Pork. Still not a high veggie-content meal, though.

I'm beginning to think business travel is all about food. I need a job that sends me places.

(Also, I've checked with the mate, and you can crash here after the party, but the couch is taken and we have three cats and a dog. But you're always welcome!)

Well, work travel is also about long hours in the airport, and lost luggage, and not seeing your friends cause you're in a hotel room somewhere else for a week. But, yeah, getting to eat out on someone else's dime is one of the perks.

And, thanks for the crash space offer. I do realize the issues at your place, I should bring an air mattress, and see if I can dig up a sleeping bag. I fully intend to bring drugs, of course. I know I have trouble with teh pollutants at your place -- and didn't figure you had many fewer animals than last time I was there. I still think, though, my plan of getting picked up by someone cute at your party, and going home with them, is the best plan. :)
