ankle update

I took the cast off when I got home yesterday and put on my hiking boot on the left foot. I found, at first, the walking felt quite strange, but it feels almost normal now, except my left ankle still feels a bit weak and twingey. I haven't noticed much in the way of fatigue or tiredness, so I'll keep the cast off unless I do. Ok, tonight for climbing, I think I'll probably where the cast for that, more for safety than anything. Next week, though, I think I'll try climbing in my hiking boot and see how that goes.

I must say, though, I'm walking far better than I had expected I would be this soon after taking the crutch off.
